- 1
Pour 2 cups (500 ml) of chilled or frozen milk into a mixer jar.
- 2
Add 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream and 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream (total 2 scoops) to the milk.
💡 If using only chocolate ice cream, the flavor will be stronger. Using vanilla balances the flavor.
- 3
Add 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup and 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder to the mixture.
💡 If using only one of these (syrup or cocoa), add 2 tablespoons total. If using only vanilla ice cream, add 1 tablespoon more of syrup or cocoa powder.
- 4
Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to the mixture.
💡 If using only vanilla ice cream, add 1 tablespoon more of syrup or cocoa powder.
- 5
Blend all the ingredients well in the mixer for 1 minute.
⏱ 1 minute
- 6
Drip chocolate syrup down the sides of a serving glass for garnish, then pour the milkshake into the glass.
💡 Garnishing is optional.
- 7
Serve the milkshake cold.
Tips
- You can use frozen milk for a thicker texture.
- If using only one flavor of ice cream, adjust the syrup/cocoa ratio: use 2 tablespoons total of syrup or cocoa powder, or if using only vanilla, add an extra tablespoon of syrup or cocoa powder.
- Drinking chocolate powder can be used as a substitute for cocoa powder.
