- 1
Place the chicken breasts in a plastic sandwich bag or between two pieces of baking paper.
- 2
Bash the chicken a few times with a rolling pin to even out the thickness, being careful not to flatten it too much.
- 3
In a medium bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and sugar.
- 4
Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and toss to fully coat with the seasoning mix.
- 5
Drizzle the oil over the chicken and toss to ensure it is fully coated on both sides.
- 6
Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer with space between them for airflow. Air fry at 200°C/400°F for 11-12 minutes, turning once halfway through.
💡 If using larger chicken breasts (198g/7oz), cook for 12-13 minutes. If 227g/8oz, cook for 13-14 minutes.

Tips
- If the chicken breasts are larger than 180g/6.5oz, you may need to cook for a longer time.
- For best results, defrost frozen chicken breasts in the refrigerator overnight before cooking.
- If cooking more than two chicken breasts, work in batches to ensure they can be layered in a single layer with space for airflow.
